The European Championship has kicked off, featuring 24 European teams, including hosts Germany, who took on Scotland in the opening match. One of the notable participants is Dániel Gazdag, a 28-year-old attacking midfielder from Hungary and the first active Philadelphia Union player to make a Euros roster in the club’s 15-year history. Hungary is in Group A, alongside Germany, Scotland, and Switzerland, presenting a tough test against the hosts.
However… the other games in the group are winnable, and even with that, the top four third-place finishers from across the six groups will qualify for the round of 16. Germany’s stadiums are modern and state-of-the-art, “offering incredible atmospheres.” Two of the stadiums, “in particular.”.. have rich histories.

The Philadelphia Union will be without their star number 10 for at least the next few weeks. Daniel Gazdag is with the Hungary National Team at the Euro 2024 tournament! The 2024 edition of the European Championship is set to kick off this afternoon as host Germany takes on Group A opposition Scotland at 3 pm EST. Gazdag and Hungary will also feature in Group starting things off on this Saturday morning vs Switzerland at 9 am EST.
